Description:
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in residential architecture/drafting and a strong interest in design details. He/she will be self-motivated and detail-oriented, will meet deadlines while being adaptable and flexible, will have excellent organizational and communications skills, and will possess a professional demeanor.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Producing detailed drawings in both AutoCAD & Revit throughout the design process

  • Collaborating regularly with other members of the project team (coworkers, engineers, contractors, & craftsmen) to design custom details and ensure the drawings effectively convey the desired design intent

  • Measuring existing structures and creating accurate & detailed “as-built” drawings

  • Obtaining product installation & structural requirements, and effectively conveying those requirements into the drawings

  • Ensuring the final Construction Documents comply with all applicable codes and quality standards

Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit is required. Proficiency is preferred in Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will also have skills in 3-D rendering.

Qualified candidates should possess an architectural degree; a two-year associate's degree (or equivalent) in computer–aided drafting/ 3D modeling; or five years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
